Dr. Maria Bartlett

Dr. Maria Barlett had been practicing medicine since 1983. Dr. Bartlett obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia with AOA honors. She completed her Internship, Residency, and Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Bartlett received her Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1986, American College of Cardiology in 1997, and Interventional Cardiology in 2004 and recertified through 2024. She was appointed as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 1997. Dr. Bartlett has been the Medical Director of Coliseum Park Hospital Cardiac Cath Labs since 1988. She has privileges at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Coliseum Park, and Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, GA.

Dr. Bartlett is married and has two children. Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, gourmet cooking, and travel. She remains active in church and as a community activist. She is an alumnus of Mount de Sales Academy and Mercer University in Macon, GA.

 
Dr. Maria Bartlett

Dr. Mike Bailey began practicing medicine in 1968. Dr. Bailey obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia. His Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine were completed at the Medical College of Georgia. Following this training, Dr. Bailey served two years in the US Army at Fort Gordon, Georgia and was discharged in 1972 as a Major, Medical Corps. He then completed a Cardiology Fellowship at University of Alabama Hospitals, Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Bailey received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1974 and Cardiovascular Disease Certification in 1975. He was appointed as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 1987. Dr. Bailey was the first Cardiologist to perform a cardiac catheterization in the Middle Georgia area.

Dr. Bailey retired in 2005. Dr. Bailey is married and has two children and a dog. His hobbies include woodworking, fishing and gardening.

 
Dr. Thomas Terry

Dr. Thomas Terry has been practicing medicine since 1973. Dr. Terry obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed his Internship, Residency, and Cardiology Fellowship at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Terry received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1978 and Cardiovascular Disease Certification in 1981. He was appointed as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 1990.

Dr. Terry is originally from Nathalie, Virginia. He is married and has lived in Macon for 28 years. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and gardening.
 
Dr. Juan Esnard

Dr. Juan Esnard has been in private medical practice since 1993. Dr. Esnard obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his Internship and Residency at Cornell University Medical College, and his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He had additional training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Esnard received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1989,and his Cardiovascular Disease Certification in 1991. He was recertified in Cardiovascular Disease in 2001 and certified in Interventional Cardiology in 2002. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Cardiology and a Fellow in the Society for Cardiovascular Angioplasty and Intervention.

Dr. Esnard is married with four children and two grandchildren. He lists chess, 20th Century American Literature, and Photography among his interests. He has also been pursuing a lifelong dream of playing the piano.
 
Gary Daniel, MD

Dr. Gary Daniel joined Heart of Georgia Cardiology in July 1, 2010. Dr. Daniel received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1993 from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia in 1997. He completed his Residency at the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1997-2000. He worked as an Internist in Moultrie, Georgia until 2005. He then went to the Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana from 2005-2009. He did his Fellow in Interventional Cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He continued his peripheral training through 2011. At Heart of Georgia Cardiology, Dr. Daniel specializes in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular disease.

Dr. Daniel’s hobbies include sports and spending time with his family.
